HSE COURSE - NOISE: MANAGEMENT OF EXPOSURE IN THE WORKPLACE

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 are designed to protect workers from injury resulting from exposure to noise.

This new one-day course provides an overview of the duties required under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and gives practical guidance on how to control and manage noise risks in the workplace.

Delegates will be provided with information that will help them to:

·        Recognise, assess, and manage the risks from noise in the workplace.

·        Know their duties under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.

·        Identify what is required for a noise risk assessment.

·        Know the hierarchy of noise controls.

·        Describe the role of hearing protection.

·        Understand the role of health surveillance in the prevention and monitoring of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL).
